Consultations

I’m a medical herbalist, based in the southside of Glasgow offering personalised herbal consultations and facilitating events, workshops and foraging walks.

Herbalists work with a wide range of conditions, usually chronic. Some common problems relate to stress, poor sleep, digestion and hormonal imbalance – or combinations of these. My post on relaxation and massage gives some self-help options for stress  or poor sleep and the digestion in pregnancy post has tips on herbs and other help for good digestion which are suitable for a range of people. A great online resource for women’s health is Carol Rogers’ Women’s Herbal Guide. I also see patients for many other conditions, particularly skin problems and recurring infections – get in touch to find out more.

For WCH 5Herbal Consultations

A herbal consultation is your chance to work with someone qualified and experienced in both medical diagnosis and the use of plants to enhance health. An initial consultation of one hour allows us to fully explore your health. The consultation leads to a treatment plan with advice on how to manage your condition. Usually you will be prescribed herbs to take internally or externally.

First appointment: £35  (1 hour)

Follow up appointments: £20  (30 minutes)

Herbal prescriptions: vary

Subsidised clinic: available for people on a low income – check with Woodland Herbs for details

I also run regular events in Queen’s Park in Glasgow – get in touch for details of the next walk.
